Stillness Nika Poka
Movement begins in the lower body.
Stillness begins at the step.
NIKA POKA draws from the traditional Japanese work pants worn by craftsmen, builders, and artisans — individuals whose work demanded grounded stability, endurance, and quiet precision. Before each task came a balanced stance. Before every movement came stillness.
The silhouette creates space where the body needs freedom and structure where support is required. The volume allows the body to settle naturally. The taper maintains quiet control. Nothing interrupts presence.
Repurposed for modern life, NIKA POKA becomes a garment of stillness — supporting grounded posture, calm awareness, and effortless readiness throughout daily practice.
Stillness is not the absence of movement.
It is the place from which movement begins.

Care
These garments are made from natural materials and are designed to evolve with use. Care should be taken with the same awareness as wearing.
Washing — cold water (30°C / 86°F or below), gentle cycle or hand wash, mild detergent only, wash with similar colours.
Drying — do not tumble dry; hang in a well-ventilated, shaded space; let the garment return to form naturally.
Ironing — low heat if needed; steam preferred to restore natural drape.
Storage — cool, dry space; hang or fold with care; avoid prolonged compression.
