NIKA POKA draws from the traditional Japanese work pants worn by craftsmen, builders, and artisans — individuals whose path required continuous movement, grounded stability, and physical awareness. The form was designed for function: unrestricted motion, stable footing, and endurance through repetition.

The silhouette creates space where the body needs freedom and structure where control is required. The volume allows a fluid stride. The taper maintains precision. Nothing interrupts motion.

Repurposed for modern life, NIKA POKA becomes a garment of progression — supporting natural movement, sustained focus, and forward continuity in daily practice.

Mid–heavyweight Japanese wool–cotton blend — breathable, with Japanese paper (washi) accents.

Care

These garments are made from natural materials and are designed to evolve with use. Care should be taken with the same awareness as wearing.

Washing — cold water (30°C / 86°F or below), gentle cycle or hand wash, mild detergent only, wash with similar colours.

Drying — do not tumble dry; hang in a well-ventilated, shaded space; let the garment return to form naturally.

Ironing — low heat if needed; steam preferred to restore natural drape.

Storage — cool, dry space; hang or fold with care; avoid prolonged compression.
